After a private phone call by US Diplomat Victoria Nuland was leaked, in which she said “Fuck the EU” in connection to the Ukraine crisis, emotions in the EU are running high. Angela Merkel called her statement ” totally unacceptable”.
After the NSA scandal, this faux pas might worsen the already tense relationship between the US and the EU even further.
